2013 Kia Carens

2013 Kia Carens, a compact 7-seater MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) has revealed at the Paris Motor Show, 2012. The new Carens aims to be the best looking, best packaged, most pleasing and most obvious choice.

The all-new 2013 Kia Carens is designed from a clean-sheet design and is truly contemporary and distinctive. The outside is downright sporty with its cab-forward design, short overhangs, LED park lamps, and standard 205/55R16 tires. The front, Kia Carens is dominated by the now familiar Schreyer ‘tiger-nose’ grille with a chrome edge, either black or high-gloss black mesh, cornering lights and LED daytime running lamps. The rear, a wider tailgate and window emphasise the solidity and practicality. Black garnish beneath the rear bumper and a standard rear spoiler with an integral high-level brake light.

Inside, the new Kia Carens is a truly innovative MPV that introduces a wealth of modern comfort and convenience features. The drivers will enjoy excellent ergonomics thanks to the standard tilt/telescopic steering wheel, height-adjustable driver’s seat, and an “organ-type” accelerator pedal. The new-style front seats provide greater support in the shoulder area for taller occupants. The second-row seats are lighter for easier adjustment and folding, and all three have built-in three-point seat belts. Third-row seats are also easier to move as a result of the introduction of rigid but lightweight plastic parts.

2013 Kia Carens is available with three direct-injection engines, one petrol engine, and two turbodiesel engines. The basic engine is a 133PS 1.6 litre gasoline direct injected chain cam petrol engine. The 114PS 1.7 litre common rail diesel engine with EC economy is 60.1mpg and 124g/km CO2 and gets 60 mph in 12.6 seconds. 3 spec diesels are upgraded to 134PS and get to 60 mph in 10 seconds, go on to 119mph, did 56.4mpg in the EC tests and 132g/km CO2. A 6 speed torque converter automatic, that gets the 134PS diesel in a 2 Spec, offering acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 11.6 seconds, EC economy of 46.3mpg and 159g/km CO2.

2013 Kia Carens has been sold since first 2013. The price starts from £17,895 to £23,895.

Great Post, Even in it 2018 and the post is from 2013 but still, it made me amazed, I wasn't don't know about most of these cars. These are awesome cars but it always has a trouble in shipping. These type of car to be only shipped by best auto transport companies.
